ANSI/HIMA MD70.1 Abstract
Luer taper male and female fittings are used to connect medical devices, such as a syringe and needle, in a liquid leakproof and mechanically secure manner. Test fixtures and methods for ensuring proper performance of all types of Luer fittings regardless of material of constrction or details of design are specified. .
